OUR STORY

DOJA Winery is a winery that continues the family tradition of wine production that started in 1895. It is located on mild slopes at the foot of Mount Jastrebac at an altitude of 470 m, where the differences between day and night temperatures are up to 15 degrees during the period of maturation.

The wineries have a hectare of vineyards with varieties for the production of white wines: chardonnay, pinot grigio and tamjanika white, and varieties for the production of red wines: prokupac, cabernet souvignon and merlot. The largest areas are under the autochthonous variety Prokupac which is a symbol of Serbia and Serbian winery. In the heart of the vineyard there is a modern winery with a capacity of 200 000 liters. The winery is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment for producing high quality wines. All processes of production, starting from the production of grapes, harvesting, processing of grapes into wine, aging and aging processes, bottling to labeling, are performed in the premises of the DOJA winery. This enables complete control of all the production processes of DOJA of wine.

To this unity of traditional and modern the team of academic experts is dedicated: the owner of the winery Goran Todić, graduated engineer of fruit and wine growing and his wife Slavica Todić (professor and head of the Department of Viticulture, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade), care about the selection of assortment, vineyard care and production quality grapes.

1895. beleže se prvi zasadi porodice Todic u selu Donja Josanica od koje se pravilo vino za potrebe porodice i prijatelja

počinje ideja o podizanju novih vinograda i novim zasadima sorte prokupac i počinje pravljenje plana za proizvodnju.

počinje realizacija porodičnog projekta Vinarije Doja. Prvi koraci su napravljeni širenjem i ukrupnjavanjem porodičnog imanja i spremanje za sazad vinove loze.

zemlja se priprema za podizanje vinograda sađenjem deteline i pšenice.

Vinarija Doja dobija  od Ministarstva Poljoprivrede oznaku za vina sa Zaštitom Geografskog Porekla (prva berba sa oznako će biti 2018.). Regija Toplica dobija oznaku za vinsku regiju za pravljenje vrhunskih vina. Ova oznaka garantuje kvalitet i pravljenje vina od grožđa iz sopstvenih vinograda

uspostavljanje saradnje sa univerzitetom u Bordou (Bordeaux Science Agro) gde vinarija otvara svoja vrata za mlade vinogradare koji žele da prikupe znanja iz oblasti vinogradarstva kod prof Slavice Todić. Prva među njima je Sofia Calad student iz Argentine.
